You will be responsible for the generation of tools such as recombinant proteins, antibodies, etc, to study these receptors. For this, you will work independently and collaborate with multiple scientists in our team . Experience with molecular techniques (cloning), and ÄKTA are a pre-requisite.

The laboratory for Immune regulation is hosted in the in the Laboratory of Translational Immunology (LTI) at the UMC Utrecht, and part of the Oncode Institute. Our group is composed of an international team of researchers, and has a long history in the identification and characterisation of inhibitory immune receptors. We are interested in the biology of these inhibitory receptors in health and disease (i.e. cancer and autoimmunity) and perform basic and translational studies in vitro and in vivo with the aim to : translate these findings into the clinics. The LTI is a well-facilitated department with experts in all fields of immunology, and is embedded in the focus area ‘Infection and Immunology’ of the UMC Utrecht. We are structured to facilitate bench-to-bed side research.
