We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled technician either with an HLO background or an MSc in natural sciences. The successful candidate should have experience with molecular, biochemical and cell biological methods and data analysis. The working language in our group is English/Dutch and the candidate should be able to work as part of a team. Experience with general lab management tasks is advantageous. The successful candidate should be an individual with a high degree of motivation to establish and conduct experiments with 2D and 3D tumor model systems in the context of cold atmospheric plasma treatment. You will become part of the Strategic Alliance on Plasma Medicine between the UMCU, Utrecht University and the Technical University of Eindhoven.

The lab is part of the pathology research lab (PRL) of the Department of Pathology of the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU), which has a JCI accreditation. The Sonnen research group has close interactions with other labs in the Utrecht Science Park, especially the lab of Membrane Biochemistry and Biophysics and the lab of Structural Biochemistry, both of the UU.

The maximum salary for this position (28 - 36 hours) is € 3.280,00 gross per month based on full-time employment.
